This is my entry for Day three of the Poetry Class. I got behind and off track.  I think I’ve even written an assignment or two ahead  But I wanted to explore this topic and style.  The assignment was to write a poem about a friend – God –  using the acrostic form.

 

Every moment is a gift

Undervalued by earthly rifts

Can we not find the joy

Hidden in every challenge we employ?

Always faithful and righteous

Revealed through grace made priceless

Inspired by love so clear

Sovereign we inure

Take my humble prayer

Exclaim thanks over all the earth and to every star

O God, how great thou are!

This blog represents my thoughts and experiences on my incredible journey in 2014 – 2015. I didn’t give much thought to things as I pushed through that year – I was in survivor mode. This past year has been a time of much reflection on those circumstances and how with the faithfulness, mercy and love of God, I managed to maintain my sanity .
